Civic Independence is an independent, nonpartisan public civic project. It was initiated by one private citizen, independently and without affiliation to any political party, campaign, organization, institution, donor network, corporation, or government body.

It is not offered as the property of any person or faction.

It is offered as a peaceful civic instrument for people to read, affirm, sign, share, and carry forward in their own names.

You may affirm any declaration that is available for public reading.

The Declaration for Life on Earth is available as an advance public edition, with formal issuance on Earth Day — April 22, 2027.

By adding your name, you affirm that the people retain the right to speak directly, publicly, peacefully, and collectively.

You affirm that public power must answer to the people.

You affirm that silence is not consent.

You affirm that citizenship is not passive.

You affirm that the future must not be decided without the people.

The People’s Affirmation

By adding my name, I affirm these declarations as a peaceful civic expression of conscience.

I do not sign as a member of any party, faction, campaign, institution, organization, donor network, corporation, or government body.

I sign as a free person, acting in my own name, affirming that public power must answer to the people, to truth, to human dignity, to constitutional government, to democratic accountability, to nonviolence, and to the future of life.

I affirm that the people retain the right to speak directly, peacefully, publicly, and collectively when systems of power fail to answer to them.

I affirm that no government, institution, party, corporation, foreign state, private interest, or unaccountable authority is entitled to rule above the people, above the law, above truth, above human dignity, or above the living future.

I add my name as an act of civic witness.

I do not consent to silence.

I stand peacefully with others who affirm these principles.
